Bio
Oscar Arnold, who works under the name Arno, is a Swansea-based artist whose practice explores identity, culture, and belonging. His work is rooted in a search for understanding; drawing from personal experience while opening space for wider reflection on the forces that shape who we are. He is particularly interested in how everyday life, memory, and place inform a sense of self.
Oscar grew up on Gower, where his family has farmed the area for generations. While they no longer work the land, the farmhouse and surrounding fields remain his home, continuing to shape his connection to place and the direction of his practice.
Alongside his own work, Oscar is actively engaged in the local community, delivering creative workshops and working on projects that encourage wider participation in the arts.
He has exhibited locally and contributed to collaborative projects across the UK.
